Adam Johnston

President

I’ve owned Balius Marketing and Web Design for more than 22 years. Community engagement is a core value of the Balius team, and as its leader, I’m involved in a number of civic organizations, including the Bloomington Chamber, where I’ve served as president. I’m an active Rotarian and past president of the Bloomington Rotary Club, and I have started a Toastmasters club in Bloomington. I also volunteer for a number of non-profits, including Loaves and Fishes, Meals on Wheels, and the Strive program for Seniors at Bloomington Kennedy. As a 13-year member, I also have had the opportunity to serve on the board of the Mendakota Country Club in Mendota Heights. I have two daughters in high school who are excellent students! We enjoy hanging out on our 80-acre farm north of St. Croix Falls riding ATVs, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. When we’re home in the Twin Cities, I referee for high school football and basketball, which I’m done for the past 30 years. I also love to read, play basketball, golf, travel, and going on adventures to see the world.

Chris Zastoupil, a veteran Twin Cities graphic designer and consultant, currently serves as creative director for Balius Marketing & Web Design. Chris has an extensive background ranging from design agencies, corporate in-house, freelance design as well as being a sole proprietor. Chris is passionate about providing solid value for his customers by producing cutting-edge design solutions, delivered on time and on budget, to fulfill a wide variety of marketing, branding and advertising challenges.

Writer

Copywriter Amanda Lanser helps you tell your company story and connect with your customers, prospects, and other stakeholders. After some good listening and a little research, Amanda crafts content that resonates with your audience and embodies your company’s voice, culture, and values.

When it’s time to put down the pen, Amanda enjoys gardening, hiking with her husband Eric, and playing bass clarinet with the Minnesota Symphonic Winds, an adult amateur concert band based in the Twin Cities.

Tom photographs both on-location and at his studio, located in the historic Lowertown Arts District of downtown St. Paul, MN. Tom resides in Lowertown and his clients range from the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area to western Wisconsin. Tom is active in the community and is the past President of the St. Paul Art Collective. He also volunteers his photography services to Second Harvest Heartland, CCEFS, the Woodbury Community Foundation and Youth Service Bureau.
